Hike ancient walking trails

Discover hidden paths that were walked by locals in their daily lives over 40 years ago. Walking trails give us a unique opportunity to encounter the natural and cultural history of Pico. On old pathways that lead us to the woods or coast, we discover pieces of history, work routines and the fights and struggles of the islanders. In the middle of nature, we still find a lot of the endemic and native flora. Trust us, there are places where the landscape tells us more than a thousand words.
