See how milk and honey are produced

Enjoying local products is probably one of the most interesting ways to discover a place.

On an island with so many cows, we couldn’t resist offering an experience with these beautiful animals. In the morning we start with a visit to a local cheese factory, where we will have the chance to make cheese and butter.

After that we will relax a bit during a picnic lunch at São João forest park.

In the afternoon we enter, with the appropriate outfit, into the world of bees and honey. Of course we will get to taste the special honey “flor de incenso,” a DOP product.
